Born in 1971 in Thessaloniki, he graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1995 and acquired an MSc in Environmental Technology from the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in Great Britain in 1996. In 2011 he acquired an MBA degree through the Management for Executives (MBA) Program of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.
He started his professional career in October 1996 at Applied Photosynthetics Ltd as Design and Marketing Engineer, in Manchester, playing a key role in pioneering design of photo-bioreactors. In 1997 he has undertaken the expansion of the company in the Mediterranean region and the management of installation works of innovative large scale photo-bioreactors in Greece, France and Italy.
In January 1999 he returned to Greece and co-founded Anatoliko Education Centre Ltd, which operates Parallel Education and Lifelong Learning centers in Thessaloniki. In 2007 he co-founded Palmos Analysis, a Market Research Agency, with significant activity in the areas of market research, public opinion polling, communication strategy and business consulting.
He has undertaken and completed a large number of research, communication and consulting projects as Project Manager, in both the Public and the Private sector.
